Thomas TYRRELL was born St James, London around 1832 to Thomas (a gaoler) and Emma Tyrrell (from his WA death cert reg Wellington No.81/1904, his mother's maiden name is not given). Thomas came to Australia, arriving in SA per "Caroline Agnes" on 15 Oct 1850. He married Catherine SPRING on 21 Dec 1852 at St Stephens, Richmond in Melbourne. By the time their first child was born, they had settled in Maldon in central Victoria where they raised their 13 children (at least two died in infancy). I could find no further trace of Thomas and Catherine, however, thanks to other members of the Tyrrell family I now know that by 1892, Thomas and Catherine had moved to Williamstown and from there moved to WA around 1892 (Catherine's death certificate 1926 notes that she lived in WA for 34 years) and established "Kimberly" at Waterloo near Bunbury. Thomas died 6 Jun 1904 in Bunbury, WA aged 72yo, and was buried 7 Jun 1904 at the Anglican Cemetery, Bunbury. Primary Tree / Family Roberts & Tyrrell
